THE STORY OF FOOTSTEPS
CHRIS'S PASSION FOR WILDLIFE
Chris with the gorillas of the Democratic Republic of Congo on a trip in 1993.
Chris's Passion for wildlife started at a young age where he reared injured owls back to good health. When they had the ability to fend for themselves he released them back into the wild.
LIZ'S PASSION FOR WILDLIFE
Liz Worden with a rescued Impala named 'Mala'. Liz's kind and gentle nature is known by all those who are lucky enough to know her. Liz's passion for animals started when she moved to Victoria Falls.
Many orphaned animals were bought to liz as there was no single facility or organisation to take care of such animals when she first arrived.
She raised a multitude of animals including elephant, warthog and impala.
SHAUN'S PASSION FOR WILDLIFE
Shaun Read with a sedated Brown Hyena, the Hyena was collared for research purposes and was released shortly after.
Shaun is Liz's son, so he was brought up with multiple wild animals running around the family house. He also spent months doing lion research in the South East part of Zimbabwe. This is where Shaun passion for wildlife really illuminated. He has volunteered his time on many conservation efforts over the last few years and still continues to help where he can.
