History cannot be changed. We need to re-acquaint ourselves with significant facets of history that altered our perceptions and fundamentally influenced the way we think. History is littered with huge personalities, saints and sinners who, in one way or another, have influenced us on the way we live today. One man stands head and shoulders above those historical personalities. His name is Dr. David Livingstone.

Chris is a keen historian and raconteur, and has read and studied the life of Dr David Livingstone, the famous Scottish Missionary Explorer who “discovered” the Victoria Falls in November 1855. 

He also collects first editions of the early African explorer’s books, and is fortunate to have one of the largest private collections, including a signed first presentation edition of David Livingstone’s “Missionary Travels”, published in 1857.
